Cancellation Policy

Freelance Editing Service Policy Service Provider: Mauri Media Service Description: This policy governs the provision of freelance editing services for a duration of 4 hours, culminating in the delivery of one edited video. This service is tailored to clients requiring professional editing of pre-existing footage to produce a polished final product. Booking Process: Consultation: Clients are entitled to a free initial consultation to discuss the scope of the editing project, specific requirements, deadlines, and any particular preferences for the final video. Quotation & Agreement: Following the consultation, a detailed quotation will be provided. This quotation will include the service fee for 4 hours of editing work and the delivery of one edited video. Upon agreement, both parties will sign a service contract outlining the project specifics and terms of service. Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total service fee is required upon contract signing to secure the booking. This deposit ensures the allocation of the specified 4 hours of editing work. Final Payment: The remaining 50% of the service fee is due upon project completion but before the final delivery of the edited video. Service Delivery: Editing Scope: The service includes up to 4 hours of professional video editing, covering tasks such as cutting, sequencing, color correction, audio enhancement, and the addition of text or simple graphics as specified by the client. Revisions: The service includes one round of minor revisions based on client feedback, provided the requests do not exceed the original scope of work. Any additional revisions or significant changes beyond the initial 4 hours of editing will be subject to additional charges at an hourly rate agreed upon in the contract. Delivery: The final edited video will be delivered digitally via a method agreed upon (e.g., cloud storage link, email) by the deadline specified in the contract. Cancellation and Rescheduling: By Client: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled start of the editing work. The deposit will not be refunded but may be applied to future services within a specified timeframe, at the discretion of the service provider. By Service Provider: In the unlikely event of a cancellation by the service provider, the client will receive a full refund of the deposit. The service provider will also offer recommendations for alternative service providers, if requested. Rescheduling:
