Cancellation Policy

Videography Booking Policy with Same-Day Editing Service Provider: Mauri Media Service Description: This booking policy governs the provision of videography services, including one videographer for up to 8 hours of shooting and same-day editing of footage. Any additional editing requested after the event date will incur charges as specified below. Booking Process: Consultation: A complimentary consultation will be scheduled to discuss the client's needs, event details, and any specific videography and editing requirements. Quotation & Agreement: A detailed quotation will be provided post-consultation, outlining service details, total cost, and any ancillary expenses. Upon agreement, a service contract will be signed by both parties. Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit of the quoted amount is required to confirm the booking, payable within 7 days of signing the agreement. Final Payment: The remainder of the payment is due 7 days prior to the event. Failure to complete payment by this deadline may result in cancellation of the service without a refund of the deposit. Service Day Expectations: Duration & Editing: The videographer will be on-site for up to 8 hours. Same-day editing is included to deliver a finished product by the end of the event day. The scope of same-day editing will be discussed and agreed upon during the consultation phase. Access & Cooperation: The client must ensure the videographer has access to the venue(s) and individuals for filming. Cooperation with the videographer is required from all parties to ensure a successful shoot. Meals: For bookings covering meal times, the client is expected to provide a meal for the videographer. Deliverables: Same-Day Edited Video: A video edited on the day of the event will be delivered by the end of the day, the format and delivery method of which will be agreed upon in advance. Additional Editing: Requests for further editing after the event day will be charged at $150 per hour. Details of these requests must be communicated and agreed upon in writing. Raw Footage: If requested, raw footage can be provided in addition to the edited video, subject to the terms outlined in the service agreement. Cancellation and Rescheduling: By Client: Cancellations more than 14 days before the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days require payment of the full service fee. By Service Provider: In the event of cancellation by the service provider, all payment
